I had my hood repainted 3 days ago. Color is Nighthawk black.
Problem is it that is not as shiny as the original paint.
The paintshop buffed it using Meguiar's DACP but left a whole lot of swirl marks. They told me to come back after a week to have it buffed again but i'm afraid the paintshop could just make it worse.
How can i make a newly repainted hood look as shiny as the original paint?

cablespy: Maybe they didn't prepped it well. Did they sand down the old paint? If not better watch out for chipping, check for bubbles. As for the swirl marks... they used the wrong tools for the job. mmm... DACP? It might be a little to harsh for a newly painted panel...

pag fresh paint talaga you have to sand it down evenly talaga to get a good surface. see the reply on your query sa PAD.
