AFAIK, bawal po yun pero personally, mas gusto ko yung dating itsura ng plates natin. Pagawa na lang po kayo sa LTO ng replacement. Submit both plates so your replacement plates does not bear the "D" (for Duplicate) marking.

Yun nga lang problema sa Rizal plates. Pwede naman siguro i-spray ng clear coat, diba? Or does the clear coat paint have an effect on the reflectorization of the plates?

Yes, it's very important to note that when you do repaint, make sure that the characters are green and background is white (as per LTO requirement). So goes for motorcycles.

Pwede naman yan do-it-yourself on a Sunday.

I don't think that clear coat paint, like the ones available in aerosol cans, will affect the reflectivity. We do some car graphics using reflectorized stickers which require to be clear coated so that when you scrub down your car during washing, the sticker's sharp edges won't peel-off. They reflect light just as well

sa davao meron gumagawa ng restoration ng plate, ang gagawin lng nila is change the whole sticker of the plate, P750 for both plates, old plates lng ang kaya nila, if u want a new plate P1500 pair....yung new plates with rizal wla pang gumagawa.....hindi takaw tingin sa TMG/Police of davao city pag dating sa plates.
