sir, ang amoy bago delikado. kasi yung amoy bago (new car scent) na tinatawag, e galing yun sa mga materials at adhesive, i think benzine yun. at ang benzine ay carcinogen. correct me if i'm wrong pero toxic yung amoy na yun.

moving on, to maintain the fresh smelling scent, mag-lactacyd..oops, try to buy yung mga likes ng ambi-pur or california scents. wag yung gel based na air freshener. bumabara sa evaporator ng sasakyan, causing premature corrosion sa evaporator.

basta hanap ka ng trip mong amoy.

I just realised that it's not really the brand but the kinds of scents that matters.


dati kasi problema ko yung nangangasim na amoy everytime you first turn on you aircon (FAN only)... then it disappears after a minute. I think this is caused by "fruity" car scents like apple, lemon and the like. they smell great at first but wreaks havoc over time.

I'm now using newport newcar smell of the same brand and now no maasim smell!

I usually interchange between ambi-pur waves and pacific air. I used to like green meadows and after-tobacco but their scent seem to have gotten too strong for my tastes.

Yea, like what Ian said, sweet and fresh amoy ng brand new pero like what I heard too, toxic siya e --- parang pinaghalong plastic, adhesive, etc. Ok na rin lagyan na ng freshener para "acquired smell" (bago magsanib ang pawis, leather, etc. smell)

Confirmed! 2 of the more popular brands --- pacific air and newport car ng ambi at cali scent respectively. I'm using the latter now. Pareho lang halos sila sa presyo (kung may holder yong ambi small, pero mas mura subsequent refill). Tingin ko parang mas tumatagal yong cali.

Dati Shaldan din gamit ko...till i heard that jells do clog up the a/c system in the long run. So I stopped a long time ago. Lemon was a fave way back then.

I find the Megs Odor Eliminator or pwede ring Turtle Wax Deodorizer (Odor-X) to be very effective in removing odors. I use these alongside with Baking Soda / Vacuum..

Megs and TW have different scents. your choice.
