    tree sap is best dealt with by trying to remove it ASAP while it hasn't set / dried-up and contaminated the ride's surface. otherwise, it'll bound to leave some undesireable etchings afterwards.

    and yes, agree with the above post. clay works. anyway, kindly do a search too. its been tackled and answered with more detail before.
