    yes, your paint is not new. it has been sitting in the factory and dealership for quite a long time so treat it like any other paint.

    sir theveed, kung newly-painted ang car, ganu katagal dapat muna lumipas bago ka mag-apply ng very-1st coat ng wax?

    paano po ang takbo nyan:

    new-paint-->cleargloss laquer?-->paint sealant?-->rubbing compound?-->wax

    kung mali po, pakiayus ung tamang procedure nyan?

    hmm... better take a look at the detailing thread.

    I'm not theveed but here's a answer for that:
    new paint as in fresh paint needs time to outgas.. that's around 30-90 days depending on the type of paint, weather conditions, etc. before you can seal it with a wax / sealant.

    Polyglaze GOG isn't a glaze in the traditional sense, can't use that.

    Please read through the Detailing thread for basic questions.

    nilalagyan lang nila ng wax bago nila i-release yung unit mo. ang gamit ng honda manila is a product called, APC (color pink liquid wax)

    si clavel naka '06 honda city na shoreline mist metallic.

    ok yang color na yan, di mahirap i-maintain. di kaagad kita ang swirls.

    yan nga yung wax na gamit nila. may nag alok sa amin nyan, sabi ko sige iwan ka sample, so as he was blabbing his sales pitch, he said "sir eto po gamit ng honda, wax na may compound", nagulat ako "wax na may compound???" told theveed and vinz about it, and threw away the sample... medyo magaspang nga yung consistency nung sample... kaya pala maraming swirls ang honda kahit brand new mga oto nila

    Wax will protect your paint. So does sealants. I tried the APC "wax". The panel came out very unimpressive.
