QUARTER PANEL REPLACEMENT and REPAINT-- HOW LONG?

Hi guys,

How long does it usually take for quarter panel (right side only) + bumper replacement + repaint on affected areas?

Ipapasok ko kasi sa Honda Casa yung car ko and sabi sa kin 3-4 weeks daw aabutin, tama lang ba yon?

Commuter car ko kasi yon eh parang ayoko naman maghintay ng matagal- kung ganon lang parang ayoko na ipasok muna,

ganyan talaga katagal kapag sa mga casa. dapat mayroong rebate kung di ma-ideliver on time agreed upon.

Isang panel lang at bumper aabutin ng three week's! One week is more than enought.

if they cant deliver the unit on time...demand ka ng pang service unit you can use while waiting for your car to be finished...pwede ba yun?

Is it a quarter panel or fender that will be replaced? The fender is the front and quarter panel is the back. If it's a fender it's just unbolt the old and replace with the new, the quarter panel on the other hand needs to be cut out since it's part of the chassis itself. If you look at your car the A pillar connect to the roof down to the C pillar and then the quarter panel. It can be done in a week but I'd rather it be done right if it's the quarter panel because they have to weld on the new one.

Yup, Quarter panel talaga kasi likod sha, right side--sa tailight.

Yun nga sabi sa ken kasi ikakabit pa nila yung bagong quarter panel thru welding tapos iprep tapos hahabulin yung pintura--

Yung pag-alis ng luma at pagkabit daw ng bagong quarter panel kasama welding is 10 days

Tapos the rest is prep and painting--mga additional 10 days daw yun

kotse? so cut and weld. matrabaho nga. pero sobra yung sinabi nila na time

mga one week lang yan kung wala naman masyado gagawin na.

i think that 1 month is too much for that kind of work...

max of 2 weeks is more than enough IMO.

Are they only painting that general area or the whole car? The cutting shouldn't take long but the welding then sanding the welds and then some body filler to make it match can be time consuming if you want it to be even. Let them have the 3 weeks since your car is probably not the only car in the shop.

Area lang yung ipaint nila after ikabit yung bagong quarter panel.

So tama lang pala yun ganung time, okay na siguro sa Honda ko ipagawa kesa sa mga body shops ano dahil maselang trabaho pala ito
