since im kinda short (budget), what is the best acrylic paint in the market? para kahit hindi anzahl yung pa-paint ko maganda pa rin yung beetle ko. =) is nippon good enough? or are there others na mas ok? thanks!
the secret of having a good quality paint finish is prepping the surface thoroughly (75% of the job) and having a good experienced painter do the painting. The PREP is the SECRET!
what i like about the dupont lucite 400 is that the color is you want is from the database of the seller's computer, dupont gives CD-roms of the whole catalog to the dealer thrice a year
so after ilan years nandun pa rin ang kulay mo, pwede nillang i save yung formula.
ok nga dupont, thanks kimpoy again for d no. of HILAND. Kuhang kuha ang timpla ng dupont d patsambatsamba. Meron silang laptop computer to see the body color no. of the vehicle para makuha ang timpla. Then save nila ang customer name para pag bumalik ka to buy again d na hahanapin uli.
wow, thats a relief. all this time i thought mas malaking role ang brand ng paint kaysa sa painter. i just want to make it clear..... kahit acrylic lang ang paint basta magaling painter maganda pa rin ang finish? tama ba? thanks!

yes...but the acrylic enamel (1-stage) paints tend to be less durable than the urethane (2-stage) paints, even though the initial quality will be pretty close. also, if your job is going to be a metallic i HIGHLY recommend going urethane.
as an ex-painter, i had three favorite brands, all mentioned by kimpoy already - dupont, glasurit and sikkens. they were my favorites because they were the easiest for me to use and get a great finish.
