just got my "new" '85 W201 (190 e) this week and so far It's been a dream to drive! It has done 226kms./141 miles and is in excellent condition. I know that this car is very reliable and I'm expect another 100,000 miles from it or even more!

August 8th, 2004 09:31 PM #16Mechanically it's in very good condition, silent engine, just been serviced and well-maintained by Mercedes authorized Autohaus of Auckland. Just did a complete tranny rebuild before they sold it, it came with a new battery, almost new tyres witha brand new continental spare tyre and I also have all the repair receipts and the original service/owner's manual!
