40k qoutation good deal or not?(repaint)

Mga bro... tanong ko lang kung good deal na yung nakuha for repaint of my lancer singkit.

at 40K
-strip to metal repaint
-replacement of front bumper and rear bumper(fiberglass)
-replacement of carpet including on trunks
-replace front signal light to white from orange...

tanong ko lang din magkano kaya yung rubber sa pinto? balak ko kasi papalitan lahat...maingay na pag sinasara or is there any other factor beside fron that rubber...

hmmm, may kamahalan ata, mag-canvass ka pa sa iba. The last time na nagpa-repaint ako ng car cost me 22K. hindi convincing yung 18K ay para sa repalcement ng carpet, bumpers at signal light. just my 2 cents

AFAIK, yung 20k-ish na repaint ay washover rate.

Not familiar with strip to metal, though.

20K is a washover territory.

Tama lang ang 40K sa scrape to metal plus palit ng bumper at carpet. Remember paint yan, you get what you pay for...

Minsan nga dito sa dagupan nagtanong ako kung magkano ang washover plus kaunting bady work sa isang reputable shop, abay sagutin ba naman ako ng 40K.

Yung kakilala ko naman eh nagpa scrape to metal for 25K! Wag nyo nang tanong kung ano ang resulta.

Mura na yan compared sa iba nag inquire ako sa TEAM KAI ganyan din price strip to metal perowala pa bumper btw san paint shop yan?

better check first mga gawa nila.. then see if you like their work. tapos kung pasok naman sa budget mo yun 40k, go for it na.

also ask na din what paint they will be using.. medyo may price differences din yun cheap and good paint materials.

btw, are they supplying the fiberglass bumpers, carpet, signal lights? wow.. one stop shop ah.. most good paint shops i know, just do paint jobs

IMO, the 40k paint job isnt that bad. dami na kasama sa package eh... just look at other jobs they did na lumipas na ng at least 1 or 2 years,,, don mo makikita yung talagang value ng paint... yung long run na. kung bagong pintura kasi, baka may wax lang or something na nilagay para kumintab.

40K is reasonable enough with the scope of work to be done on your car. just do your background check sa shop para hindi magsisi.

Thanks a lot for some info and suggestion but I found one better shop than this 40K qoute.
-Just 27k strip to metal plus carpet repalcement including on track.
includes
top coat,
undercoat,
polishing and repainting of mags
repaint of brake caliper and brake drum
-8.5k for bumper(evo5 look), side skirt and rear skirt
-add 3k for 2 tone paint

Quality of work
base from 8 shops i have visited they will not just repaint the car but also includes restoration kung may lalatahin kasama na rin dun sa price na yun lahat ng pinto baba nila and will realigned the door I will provide the bushing.
Di sila masyado tumatangap ng work if loaded pa sila just to make sure income will not compromise the quality. Yung may ari mismo ang nag pipintura
but his team also includes mecahnis so if you want tuned up and everytime you can talk also about it basta pag nilabas na yung auto mo ok na lahat.
When I bring my car tt their shop they have just finished restoration of one old toyota as in they repalece lahat ng lata maliban sa pinto at bubong.
Yung may ari gumagawa din ng air brush paint.

-save 1.5K
-plus 2 tone pa yung pintura ko
-of course the warranty for the paint job

well in the end, ikaw lang masasabi kung sulit o hindi. normally, i would ask around friends who had their cars painted.. and most likely dun ko na din pagawa.

most of the time, you get what you pay for din kasi..

40k i think is within the range of a strip to metal job. although it can still go down to at most 32-35k.

anong brand ng paint ang gagamitin?
