are car wash machines/compressors worth it?

Moderators, dito ko na lang ipost...kakahiya ilagay sa Workshop eh B).


Sulit ba bumili nung portable compressors for washing you car? Does it really save you a lot of time?

Personally kc i wash n wax my ride once a week...pansin ko lang na ung medyo matakaw sa oras is ung pagwash sa ilalim/around the wheels, tsaka ung pag wax(i've since switched to the liquid wax instead of ung de pahid; Pennzoil coz it's d cheapest B).

Isa lang naman po ung ride namin..and have no plans of putting up a car wash service B).


If it *is* worth it...anong reccomended brand n specs?

all i can is say is YES!
very convienient, kahit anong oras pede akong mag linis ng kotse.
pede rin aong mag DIY paint retouch dahil sa air compressor.

pati rin driveway namin malinis,
pede rin pandilig ng halaman ang washer
kaso nga lang wag mong itutok sa plants
itaas mo parang rain effect.

Yup, meron kaming Karcher na pressure washer. Pati sa engine wash tipid ka.

Yung nga lang medyo tamad ako ilabas kaya hindi ko parati ginagamit.

Sa Home Depot sa Toronto namin binili noong 1996. Hindi ko na matandaan. Sale kasi nun. Siya yung smallest (or second to the smallest) doon sa mga naka-display, eh. :D

Yup 110V siya. 110V at 220V ang mga saksakan dito sa amin. 1:2 ata ang ratio 1 110V for every 2 200V outlet.

Around P5,000 yata.

Meron akong biniling generic pressure washer
sa Hans Tools Shangrila for about P 4,000 bucks.
Intention ko is to use it to wash the car pero I
ended up using it more often to wash my driveway,
my gate, house windows, laundry area, blast clogged
drains, etc...Yes, its worth it if you find other uses for
it other than for washing cars.

where in pasig yung 5K+ na karcher, i'm planning to getn one din kasi kaso around 10k yung price sa ACE hardware in alabang..what brand yung nakuha mo sa HANS shang? maayos ba?

me nakita akong brand na LYNX...made in Germany din kuno...arnd 5k

Yes, I bought the Lynx brand. Its a Taiwan-made generic
high presure washer. Compact in size. Its a little bit less
than 5,000 when I bought it sa Hans Tools Shangrila early
this year. May naka-display pa nung huling punta ko sa
Hans last week...
Kapag nasira naman daw ay puedeng ipagawa mismo
sa Hans Tools. Kaya hayun, binili ko na. Sulit naman siya
kasi pati mga lumot sa drivway na mahirap kuskusin ay
natatanggal niya..Tapos ako na rin mismo ang gumagawa
ng engine wash sa kotse ko...

May Karcher dealer dito along Shaw Blvd. near corner

Recommend ko lang ung T. Alonzo St sa may arranque banda. Maraming pressure washer na generic (china, italy, taiwan etc.).

Karcher the best... but medyo mahal sya, the smallest one costs 4K upwards... the heavy duty ones easily costs 40-70K... if you dont mid 110V, dami sa HMR....

Ganda yan. Wag ka lang kumuha ng mga 110V. Yung amin, nasaksak ng katulong sa 220V, hanggang ngayon, hindi pa naaayos. Malapit na mag 1 taon.

Gaganahan ka maglinis nyan. It takes away dirt, grime, mud, and paint from your wells. Dirt free pa engine bay mo.

ang problema sa HMR, mahal din yung mga used items nila dun. konti na lang, you can brand new na. di ko lang alam kung may warranty ung sa HMR..
