[QUOTE=jhnkvn;2234592]I generally prefer Meguiars over Mothers. Their lineup is way more diverse from their consumer lineup to their professional lineup. Besides, mas "kilala" talaga sila versus Mothers.
ok sir thanx for reply medyo mahal nga lng talaga Meguiars but d nman nagkkalayo so try ko nga yung clay kit ng meguiars nakita ko sa handyman and sa blade it cost almost 4,000 yata yun..

September 25th, 2013 05:28 PM #1473Just to offer a contrasting viewpoint on machine ownership - I own a Meg's DA, along with the requisite pads and polishes. All told, I spent around $300 on it - that's about 12,000 pesos (though you can easily get a machine and sufficient pads for around $200). However, I am planning on using these for a long while - I can easily see them going five years, maybe more. Big Bert's offers machine polishing for around 2.3k - at four one-step polishes a year, you're talking about just 5 instances, or a year and a quarter, and you've already broken even in my case. If you have more than one car, then that period goes down pretty drastically.
That's without taking into consideration the other uses for the machine, such as for your pre-wax cleaner application (every four to six weeks), or being able to do spot polishing, on a section or a panel (which I've done a few times). So here's my take - if you're willing to take the time to polish yourself (which admittedly is not the case for everyone), and are rather OC about swirls and scratches, it's worth considering getting a DA, especially if you have more than one car to maintain.

Yung mga distributor naman ng collinite, dodo juice, Optimum at Mothers na bebenta nila ng SRP or a little bit more than SRP.

Noob question.. What are the step needed to remove light scratches..
Tama ba ito??
Scratch/swirl remover> polishing> seal?
Ano pwede gamiting pa polish? Balak ko kasi gamitin na swirl remover is XMT intermediate 3.. Problem ko is polishing na. Di ko alam ano gagamitin. And saan pwede ipasok klasse aio, collinite? TIA

after the scratch/swirl remover, any finishing polish will do. kung binili mo yung xmt intermediate, dapat binili mo na rin yung partner niya na xmt ultra fine swirl remover na pang finishing polish. papasok ang klasse aio after mo mag finishing polish, then pwede ka na mag collinite.
pwede mo rin i-test mauna klasse aio and see if kaya niya maalis yung swirls/minor scratches. if yes, then tipid ka na sa oras kasi 1 step ka na lang, after ng aio, wax na. less sa pagod...
