*jagtemp: it depends on how dirty the car is, if it has mud splatters near the wheels then i do a quick shampoo and quick dry technique, i have a shampoo solution on a bucket and a drum of water on standby for that and a pressure washer rigged with a soft mist gun works wonders for me, and then i use Microtex Elite to dry it down i could wash the car and dry it in less than 30 minutes, but if the car doesn't have that much mud splatters and dirt stuck on the paint, i just hose down the car and use a QD along with the drying.

Can you layer on top of cleaner wax? Is it durable enough to act as a base? More specifically, I'm planning to layer NanoGlos on top of TW Carnauba Cleaner Wax.

Sa silky Bronze same shine sila ng 915 but sobrang dali i buff off ng souveran. Hindi sya ganun kalakas mag bead ng water compared sa 915. Sa durability siguro mas matagal ang 915 so ginawa kong LSP is yung 915

*SG, tumbukin mo yung raon(g.puyat). right turn sa ongpin. then look for alonzo street. dami power tools dun. i think its after tomas mapua st....kung may dala ka sasakyan, pwede ka mag-park sa isetann recto para safe...yung nga lang medyo challenging magpark dun.

*madkatz, i-hand application ko po yung 915/476, tapos buff-off with a rotary. i also would be planning to do detailing na rin if i have the rotary. meron kasi ako old skul ford laser. medyo makapal ang clear coat nia kaya pwedeng-pwede guinea pig. anyway, knowing that honda paint needs filling, i might settle for a kp600 and the like. Thanks po.

if i decide to use the black&decker kp600 as the buffing machine only (wax is hand application), do i need to customize it i.e. place new backing plate (what size?) with velcro? how about its pads, do i need lc pads or dupont pads? what sizes and type of pads do i need?

    * sir edwin / ma'am madkatz: is the Elite still available? how about ONR? magsked kami pumunta uli ni psi, chikselog, dotnetmatt, scharnhost, golti, beeco, rockstar, etc to buy some products again.

do u have buffer pads (available for the customized kp600) that i can use after applying wax (either 476s or nanoglos) by hand?

    * psi: sir galing talaga ng OGE! pati nanosliq galing sa beading! panalo!

    * silverrain: OGE is Optimum Gloss Enhancer. this is a QD like the microtex nanosliq and mothers showtime. nanosliq has the best beading effect though.
