Good day. I'd like to try this wax / sealant combo. Any experience using Carlack? Is this the same thing as or an alternative to Optiguard? Which detailing offers Carlack in Metro Manila? What's the usual price?

I used this on my car and the results are quite good in terms of giving a deep shine (noticeable even on our white car). The scratch hiding properties was not as good as the Meg 3-in-1 cleaner wax i used before and it doesn't last as long as the synthetics if you're counting on how long the slick beading lasts. AFAIK Big Berts had Car Lack before. I bought mine from Dexterton (yes, the home fixtures store) but i have not seen it on their shelves anymore the last few times i would go.

Thanks vinj. There's this detailer in Makati that offers Carlack 3-step application for 1,500 kasi. They said it will protect the car's paint for up to 6 months daw. As much as I want to apply the wax myself, mahirap kasi since sa condo parking naka park yung kotse and wala akong garage para makapag wash and wax.

'What's the process and exact materials involved? Maybe that's a cleaner/polish, then wax, then sealant. The Car Lack "new paint" sealant cost me around 1,300 for a 500ML bottle.

Interesting. The usual offering is for the Carlack twins, which consists of the Nano-Systematic Care - a very good chemical cleaner which also lays down a layer of sealant - and Long Life Sealant, which is a durable pure sealant. The two are designed to work synergistically, with durability increased when used together. I've not heard a lot of about the polishes that Carlack carries though, and have no idea how good (or mediocre) they are.

Some say it's a direct rebrand of the Klasse. Much like how the Altis is branded as Axio or Ascent in other countries.

Supposedly Klasse is based on an older Carlack formula, with the newer Carlack product having better UV and waterspotting protection. Of course, that isn't too relevant for NSC/KAIO, which is more a cleaner than a sealant.
