Paging TheVeed: Touch up for Black Honda City 2006

Paging TheVeed:

Boss, I just bought a Black Honda City 2006 last May.
Unfortunately, masyadong sinipag ang mother ko. For the first 2 weeks, panay ang punas using ordinary rags. As a result, puro minor scratches.

May ilang minor (but visible nevertheless) scratches din na nasagap habang nasa car park.

What can you recommend to do about it. In case I bring it to Big Berts, how long will it take to restore (and "seal") the paint? Will OPTIGUARD do the trick?

Well, if all you're concerned with is the towel marring, just use a good cleaner wax and it'll essentially hide most of it very well, and you'll be happy again.

As for the real cause of your problem, you'll need to tell your mom to take it easy on the Civic's soft paint hehe.

hirap talaga pag black car. siguro kita ng mom mo nadapuan na ng alikabok kaya pinunas niya lagi. Tell you mom ikaw nalang maglilinis ng car mo and sakay nalang siya.

Your mom is thoughtful, next time ihanda mo na lang mga gamit na pwede pang punas like microfibre towels or cali duster.

I may still have to bring it to big berts though, not just for the moderate scratches, but also for protection. Mga ilang oras kaya ang session (optiguard?). Bababa pa kasi ako ng bulubundukin ng Cavite

Sinubukan ko na ring mag-prepare ng MicroTex. Ang kaso, makakatayo na sa dumi yung microtex, tuloy pa rin kaya nakaka-gasgas pa rin. Hay! Medyo kulang kasi sa libangan sa lugar namin kaya pampalipas oras na niya ang maglinis ng oto at ng bahay.

Ang siste, pagka-garahe ko, linis agad ako oto just to make sure na hindi mangagapal ang microtex.
