products react differently from car to car, i have never been a brand over product person, for example, Mother's Phase 1 vs. Meg DC Step 1, both are paint cleaners yet I've used one or the other in certain circumstances where one tops another. Besides, their products cost the same... Wrong person to ask...

Comparing brands and only works for brand-conscious shopping... In actual usage in car care stuff, you can't make a conclusive comparison unless you assume all cars are alike.

The best thing to do is experiment, and don't limit your choices to those 2 brands.
