I need your thoughts on this scenario. I have this Toyota REVO VX200, the only luxury that I cant give to my AUV is that, My design of my house has no garage space ( maliit lang kasi ang lote ko, so i maximized almost all the space). Now that I have this nice car, It breaks my heart (drama) everytime i see it soaking in the rain..or in the cold january/ february night, the following day, na hamugan na ito, so what i did since i bought this REVO, is washed (running water only) before i dry it with a chamois, every morning ganito ang ginagawa ko, cause i dont want to go driving, na basa ang sasakyan ko..at hindi ito dry.. What is your advise on this..alam ko na many of you are expert on this..thanks a lot..

There are also several shops in Banawe na gumagawa ng car covers.

    BongersVX200:
same problem tayo since 1 car lang kasya sa garage namin, so yung kotse nakapark sa loob and yung revo sa kalsada lang..ulanin-arawin talaga sya kasi pati sa work ko ay open ang parking kaya kawawa talaga.. over a year na syang ganun ang situation. di naman ako pwede maglagay ng permanent tent sa kalsada dahil bawal dito sa village namin..

what i did was binilan ko lang sya ng car cover and pinapa-wax twice a month..

One thing you can do is give your ride a Paint Protection System, regularly wax it at least once or twice a month, have it detailed once or twice a year, wash it once or twice a week, pinakamalaking kalaban mo diyan eh water spots and dust.

The only thing that i never done for my REVO is Detailing. Pero yung pag apply ng wax ( i used 2 brand pa nga eh.. turle wax and carnubba..ano ang tingin mo dito?) 2x a month ako mag waxing. Araw-araw naman ang ginagawa kong pag hugas sa ReVO, running water lang , everyday ito.. then dry w/ chamois.. once a week naman ay shampoo ko ito (ano ang masasabi mo dito)..ang brand na gamit ko ever since ay yung Mess out.. Advise nyo namn ako.. if I am doing the right thing for my REVO...

not all dusts can be removed by water alone. kaya gumagamit ng shampoo to pull out the dust & also act as a "lubricant" between the wash mitt & the paint surface.

check your paint surface under fluorescent light. kapag may mga parang circular marks may swirls na yung paint mo (parang micro scratches).

Ako din sa open air lang naka-garahe. But then again, I don't really have such nice paint to begin with kaya ok na din lang.

I wouldn't recommend turtle wax di siya tumatagal.

Pa detail mo ride mo at least once a year. And wag lang running water, sayang lang tubig, and wag ka gagamit ng synthetic chimois nakakagasgas yun. Here are the stuff you need:
    - 2 Wash Mitt (avail sa true value, hans tools)
    - Car Shampoo (may 1 gallon na available sa bigberts for only 400+petot)
    - Waffle Weave Microfiber (avail sa big berts)
    - Microfiber (avail sa big berts)
    - cleaner wax
    - pure wax

Okey, ah... at least na educate ako , on how to care /maintain sa paint ng ride ko.. sa totoo lang, hard earned money ko kasi ang pinang-bili ko ng REVO ko now..kaya ganito na lang ang pag iingat ko dito.. By the way , meron akong nakitang pang buff sa ACE, (black and decker) okey bang gamitin ito? lalo na sa pag apply ng wax?

Pwede din. Meron ako yung B & D KP600, maganda siya pang cleaner wax. if you have some extra cash, try mo rin yung Mothers Claybar system, I think its sells for 1000+ petot = Cleaner Wax, Claybar, Quick Detailer. It's a good deal if your serious about detailing. Also consider purchasing a couple of meguiars sponges available at Hans pang apply ng wax. HTH

ILD... remember that bongers is new to detailing. an improperly used buffer will do more harm than good.
