Painting plate numbers? Need help

hi there, ask ko lng, ano ba ung gnagamit na pang paint na color white? and ung green na pinang lelettering?..
kc, i saw some cars na ganon ung plate numbers.. ang cute nung pgkaka white.., ung iba, pangit naman, kc i think, gnamit nila is ung paint na pang bahaya.. like mga boysen, and hndi pa smooth ung dating..
ano kya ung gnagamit na paint for white and green? and pano ung procedure to do it? tnx

kuha ka na lang ng replacement baka mahuli ka pa sa "tampering " mo sa plates mo...

pero kung gusto mong tampering...sticker ang pinaka malinis na way...usually yung mga maruning mag tint marunong din gumawa niyan.

Bawal iyan. Pero if you really want to, look for Felix Kalbo sa Banawe. Expert siya diyan. Nawala yung number niya sakin. Pero sa bandang Intense ang tambayan niya.

Reflectorized sticker ang gamit diyan. He did a lot of our vehicles. Yung sa Pajero ko, isang letter lang niretoke kasi may gasgas.

Na-flag down na din ng pulis yung 300SD namin for tampered plates. Tinignan lang then pinaalis na din agad.

Dati sinita ako sa may vito cruz nung may check point dun after nun wala na nangsita sa akin..Kulay white background ko at black lettering pa painted pa yun ng anzhal..
Kapit bahay ko spray paint ang ginamit niya yung DO IT para sa background tapos yung lettering at numbers sticker na lang din..

I don't think painting with the prescribed colors is tampering. If you do a good job, the authorities will hardly notice or just let you go, like what they did to me in Timog.

the only problem with the violations above is really how do we define the terms

for instance, anong definition ng "dirty" or ng "tampered"? without guidelines, these enforcers are free to use their own judgment and more often than not, they misuse their judgments and here is where a lot of corruption happens

Sinabihan lang ako na bawal daw tapos alis na sabi ko "sir pinalilinaw ko lang ang plate ko"..hehe yun nung sumunod na araw wala na sila eh parang biglaan na check point daylight pa yun ah..Inisip ko na lang baka may nacarnapp dun sa lugar na yun kaya naglagay ng checkpoint..

I agree with kimpoy and otep. Best way is to use reflecto stickers, the one they use in jeepney designs. Get to a nearest jeepney designers and have them get rid of your plate. They may call it tampering, but for me it's refurbishing since plate characters are embossed making it evident even though superficially changed.

Both white (background) and green (characters) are reflecto stickers. These can be bought at local auto supplies in meters/yards. It will be cut in a way same as the characters in your plate should appear. Yung plate ng previous car ko ako na lang ang nag-retoke. I just traced the characters in a tracing paper, transferred it to the sticker and carefully cut it with a paper cutter.

ang ginawa ko naman sa akin ay gumamit ako ng 3" (width) and 16" (lenght) na white reflecto para ma takpan ang buong plate ...and then doon sa Characters (numbers & letters) ay 1 " na color green
then tinakpan ko lang ang mga character ng puro green reflecto
at ..ini-strip ko na lang ang mga naka embossed
na character sa plate number ..
hanggang sa nabenta ang Vehicle hindi ako nasita

question, how come there are plates na mukang orig (meaning yun mismo ang stinamp during production) that has thinner and narrower fonts than normal?

Bako bako din plaka ko sa harap, I wonder kung pwede ka pagawa ng sarili mo from lateros/signage people...
