i bought my A4 (B7) last may 2006. the new B8 is actually cheaper cuz they took out the "non-essential" options like xenon lights, rain sensing wipers, etc.
but frankly, i will never buy another brand new car again. i will wait for the certified pre-owned vehicles. they are more 'value-for-money.' let someone else take the depreciation hit.
the A4 is a good car. my car currently has 21t kms and i've tracked it in BRC thrice. aside from the annual maintenance, my car has literally zero shop time. i kid you not.
