    nasira ung radiator nung Civic LX namin...

    may butas daw kaya tumatagas ung tubig...

    plastic lang ba tlga ung mga radiator?

    8000 ang brand new daw na radiator...

    may makukuha pa kaya kami na nmas mura?

    Saan ba ang tagas? Usually plastic ang tops ng radiators ngayon. Pwede mo iyan ipa-repair. Icoconvert sa bakal yung radiator top. Mas mura naman siguro sa Php 8K ang total bill mo kapag ganun. Ganun ginawa namin sa 300D at 300SD nung mag-crack yung radiator top, eh.

    tama si Sir OTEP (ang Hunk ng USTe, nabasa ko lang sa kabila), hanap ka na lang dyan gumagawa ng radiator mas mura nga magastos mo at mas titibay pa.

    pwede siyya iconvert sa bakal?

    actually kasi....before namin dalhin sa shop (il just stay mum kung anong shop) ang sira lang e ung water pump..kasi na check pa nung pinsan ko tsaka ng family mechanic namin...

    tapos....

    nung dalhin na sa shop....after palitan ng water pump...nakita pa nila na may tagas daw ung radiator....

    di pa kasi naiuuwi dito sa bahay kasi ginamit sa impt na lakad after magawa ung pump...by tom siguro try ko ask ung mechanic namin kung san ung tagas...

    tapos sabihin ko ung suggestion nyo...

    ayun.. mura na yung kina auto_xer.... kung epoxy naman.. gamitan mo ng steel epoxy.. i did that dun sa rad ko nung wala pa akong pera paayos.. tumagal naman.... hehehe... but, keep in mind... temporary solution lang yan... ang you wouldnt want to be caught somewhere out of town with a broken rad....

    Kababa lang po ng radiator ko kanina for cleaning. P600 ang fee niya plus P50 yun new drain plug. May bara na three holes pero na alis din nila. 3 rows yon.

    Kababa lang po ng radiator ko kanina for cleaning. P600 ang fee niya plus P50 yun new drain plug. May bara na three holes pero na alis din nila. 3 rows yon.

    naayos na temporarily....
    gaya ng suggestion ni HBOY....steel epoxy muna...pero temp lang pala yun?hmmm....masabi nga sa mechanic namin...

    para palang lamat ung sira nung rad....di nga agad nakita....

    You can always spray paint the copper and brass color of your radiator with black color to maintain it's "originality". :wink:

    just be sure to use high temp spray paint.... when i did the steel epoxy solution to my rad before, i had a can of high temp spray paint to at least conceal the problem area.. eheh. ayun.. parang bago ulit.. but since my rad was a BEHR plastic, ayun.. after awhile bumigay na rin ulit.. so talagang palit na ng rad.

    Good thing now i have a copper rad na.. .eheheh... solder solder na lang..:D

    how much would that cost po kaya?
    tsaka ipapaint ko na rin ung drum brakes ko....natanggal na kasi ung dating color na black eh....hehe
