question re sa compressor.ano gagawin ko?

Hi,

pina-check ko b4 yng compressor ko kasi mdyo umiingay pagminsan. ayun, yng diagnosis ay sira na ang bearing. ang advice is to change it kahit surplus compressor.

should i change it kaya? kasi malamig pa nmn ang aircon kahit na super mainit ang araw.

may negative effects ba sa ktse pag d ko agad pinalitan?...iniisip ko rin na antayin nlng na bumigay talaga before replacing it.

also question na rin, apektado ba ng "sira" na compressor ang power ng engine?..pansin ko pag nka-aircon may times na mahina hatak then biglang lalakas kahit na same parin nmn ang pagtapak ko. ganito ba tlga? i think nangyayari ito pag nag off ang automatic. tama ba?

mgkano surplus aircon and pakabit nito? lahat-lahat mgkano gastos kaya?

imho, bibigay at bibigay yan whether you like it or not (its a moving part).... so what i suggest is for you to just wait until it dies out tsaka ka magpalit ng compressor. sa pagpalit, i am recommending a brand new one para may warranty. have posted here before na nangyari na sa akin yang palit ng palit ng surplus compressor before, tapos after one year nasisira.

tsaka ang alam ko repairable ang compressor bearing ah... why not get a second opinion on this?

had my aircon checked sa petron...then kay mang danny (may thread sya dito)...palit daw sabi nila...ka mang danny sbi nya kaya daw ayusin yng bearing kaso delikado daw kasi baka matamaan yng ibang parts...

have not tried having it checked by mang mario...layo and don't know the way kasi..

mgkano surplus compared to brand new compressor?

hmmm. depende sa condition ng surplus compressor yung price eh.

yung sa akin before, got one at around 4k, tapos yung pangalawa, got it at around 5k. both lasted for a year (imagine, 9k agad....)
brand new costs around 9k, excluding labor. siguro kung brand new, gagastos ka ng mga 11 - 13k.

Worst case is that your bearing might seize which could add to more load to your engine and you'll have no other option but to remove or cut (faster) your aircon belt. Replace it with a new one.

kung pa repair mo nlang bearings sir? tumutunog bah pag automatic ng A/C? yung parang may motor na tumutonog ? at medyo humina hatak? yun ba symstons sa compressor sir?

matanong lng if bearings pinalitan tatagal din bah compressor?

Yung sa truck ng UST, nag-sieze yung bearing ng a/c. Buong engine ayaw mag-start. So kinalas namin on the spot. hehehe.

Yung bearing pinapalitan nila Mang Mario provided the shaft it rides on is still smooth, has no gouges and cracks. Otherwise, pati compressor shaft papalitan din nila. Madali lang naman gawin. Yung pagbababa lang ng compressor ang matagal.

Yes, tumatagal naman siya. Nakalimutan ko na kasi sobrang tagal na nung nagpapapalit ako niyan.
