    Kay Mang Mario, Php 1,200.00 ang dual air, Php 600-900 ang single a/c.

    Sa iba, hindi ko alam. Prolly twice that.

    Sir OTEP, may sasakyan na po ba ngaun na may dual aircon nang nakakabit, ano pong brand kaya ito?

    Bihira na ang AUV at SUV ngayon na single air. My Pajero is dual a/c din. Single compressor pero front and rear ang evaporator and blower.

    Most sedans are single air except for topline luxury vehicles.

    Sir OTEP correction lang po,baka ang ibig nyong sabihin Dual Evaporator lang like in the case of AUV/FX. Pag sinabi po natin na dual aircon, 2 ang compressor, 2 ang condenser, 2 ang expansion valve, 2 ang filter/drier at 2 din ang evaporator. When we say airconditioning sytem we talked of the four basic elements which are: compressor, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator. Hindi po aircon yong nasa dashboard and at the rear portion ng sasakyan, that is evaporator assembly and blower scroll assembly only.

    Wala pang dual aircon units sa mga vehicle , sa mga centralized aircon lang meron dual which is sometimes called two circuit airconditioning units.

    Got confuse there..all the while what I know is "dual AC". Pls. enlighten me dudes.

    Dual a/c talaga tawag dun. Even when I communicate with my U.S. counterparts. In the strictest technical sense, parang misnomer nga. But you must also take into account local conditions and local slang.

    Even some Mustang 5.0's don't have 5 liter engines (they only have 4.9's), but calling them five-point-oh's is part of the local language (even the block itself has a 5.0 stamped on it.

    If we say aircon/airconditioning unit, isang assembly po ito which are composed of four (4) basic components namely as:compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator.
    Hindi po isang components lang or isang element lang ang word na aircon. Isang system po ito. Yung evaporator which is the source of the cold air na hinihigop ng blower ay hindi aircon ang tawag, that is only the evaporator assembly with blower scroll assembly.
    Kagaya ito ng WACU(Window-type AirConditioning Unit) na nakakabit sa mga kwarto ng ating bahay. Yong evaporator ng WACU is only an evaporator assembly and not an aircon.
    Parang nasanay na lang kasi tayo na ang tawag natin ay aircon dun sa evaporator na nasa dashboard ng sasakyan.
    So, pag sinabi nating dual ang aircon, dalawa dapat ang compressor, 2 ang condenser, 2 and expansion valve at 2 ang evaporator. Since isa lang naman ang nakakabit na compressor sa sasakyan kaya isa lang ang aircon nun na matatawag, dual evaporator ito not dual aircon like in the case ng mga AUV/FX/ Van.
    Pag Dual airconditioning, malalaki po ito, two (2) circuit airconditioning unit na ang tawag dito. Parallel ang installation nito ng condenser and evaporator but have separate compressor, expansion valve, filter drier, etc.

    I've been a Registered Mechanical Engineer for 17 yrs already, wala pa akong nakitang dual aircon sa sasakyan, sa mga industrial establishments lang meron nito as of now.

    Yon pong nasa mga sasakyan dual evaporator po ang tawag dito and not dual aircon.

    technically tama ka kapatid, siguro kasi yan na ang nakasanayan na itawag sa air conditioning system na dalawa ang condenser like sa mga van. kasi yan ang tinatawag sa mga aircon shop kaya yan na rin ang tinatawag ng mga customers. kaya siguro tinawag nilang dual air con para sa akin kasi para masmahal ang bayad (double) pag nanigil sila pagpinaservican mo.,as long na nagkakaintindihan ang nag uusap yun na yon.

    "Sir dalawang evaporator po hindi dalawang condenser."

    Nasanay lang kasi tayo na kapar sinabing aircon, ito na yong pinanggagalingan ng lamig which is evaporator talaga ang tawag dun.

    Sometimes technicalities only leads to more confusion. Minsan talaga, you have to use the common/slang name for something. I'm not going against your definition (it is correct). Talaga lang it's not a perfect world and we have to live with misnomers as part of the norm.

    Isipin mo na lang na may front and rear difflocks ka and you are running it off one air source. Dual difflocks pa din iyon even though air lockers are technically composed of an air source, air lines, and the locker itself. :D

    makikigulo lang po hehehe... Technically speaking tama si sir jezreel (thanks sa info. ) pero in terms sa day to day used tama rin naman si sir otep… yan na kasi ang nakasanayan... basta nagkakaintindihan yong dalawa (customers & mechanics) out na don hehehe…

    LIL Nasty, 1500 - 2000 cleaning ng aircon ngayon.

    mali pala yun nakalagay sa FX and auvs, dapat pala naka tatak eh - dual blower, dual evaporator, single compressor, dual condenser, single shutoff valve, single expansion valve....heck hindi kaya kulangin yun pinto to write all of this down. :D I wonder how US make SUV ea. Suburban market their airconditioning system.

    BTW, goin back to the topic, sa Banker's Aircon along lilac st lower antipolo, 800 pag single (blower) and 1200 pag double (blower) ;)

    sa willy's paranaque 900 petot ang palinis kasama na charging ng freon R134. ako inabot ng 2K last palinis ko kasi pinalitan na rin yung o-ring ng compressor ko at isang aluminum tube dahil may leak na. sayang nga lang nagsara yung shop dahil nag-OFW na raw si mang willy.

help brothers ask lang how much para may idea ako about magpalinis ng aircon
