    My paraan ba para mas maaga madetect na magooverheat na yung makina? Ano ba additional protection mechanism na maiinstall para bago pa man umabot ng 3/4 yung temp gauge e, may alarm na? May sensor ba na ganun at paano iniinstall?

    You can have an aftermarket water temperature gauge installed in your car. The factory gauge is not accurate and would only tell you if the cooling system is working or not. It doesn't tell you what temperature the engine is at the moment.

    Make sure to check if the gauge will work with existing sensor OR choose a temp gauge with it's own temp sensor. Prices will vary greatly based on brand so better canvass first before buying.

    the best way to keep everything in tiptop condition is replacing parts periodically like hoses, thermostats, etc before they get busted.

    also use coolant so there's less rust buildup.

    Or if your car has an under-dash OBD-2 DLC, you can spend about P7k and get more readings/measurements in one box using the ScanGaugeII (SGII).

    That's what I did: The "cWT" label is the Water Temp in Celsius
