    I recently bought a crosswind XL. I noticed that its aircon lets go of hissing sound (parang humihinga ang tonong) which varies from a second to 5 seconds long tapos mawawala na naman. I am pissed coz the Isuzu casa told me its normal daw sa Denso aircon ng XL (both front and rear).

    Is this really true??

    SA ibang SUV particularly the Adventure (which was my second choice) wala ganitong sound ang aircon.

    i pressume yung hissing sound is the expansion valve working. talaga yatang me maingay na expansion valve. go to your A/C mechanic and get a 2nd opinion para safe.hth.

    yes its just the expansion valve, more often than not its harmless

    I guess it's normal. Been hearing the same sound on my xto ever since I bought it. expansion valve yun located under the glove box. ang abnormal pag tuloy tuloy yung "hiss".

    hmmm, nariring ko rin yan sa aircon ng cars namin, pati rin actually sa aircon ko sa room minsan... hehe

    Yes it is from the expansion valve (the liquid refrigerant expands to become gas) kaya me hissing sound. Normal lang po yun.
