How much usually and check up and linis ng aircon?

Hello Guys,

Magtatanung lang, balak ko kasing patingnan ung aircon nung kotse ko, mga magkanu ba patak ng check up ngayon ng aircon? Magkanu din refill ng Freon?

Nakakaapekto ba ung maduming and mahinang aircon sa fuel consumption ng sasakyan?

ok, i guess wala pang cabin filter yan.
check up would normally cost you around 250-500 pesos depending sa shop. check up pa lang yan ha? walang other activities.
some shops would offer their checkup for free, pero sila ang maglilinis..... its because they would be assured ng income na from the cleaning services and cost of spare parts na kakailanganin mo.

freon refill, i think is around 600-800 pesos, not sure.

Makikisali na din po sa thread na ito. Same car din po, lxi 97. San po ba marerecommend niyo shop? Kanina kasi may sound ang aircon, parang pitch sound (parang no signal na radio or tv). So pinatay ko muna aircon. Matagal na din hindi ito nalinis or nacheck. Ano po kaya problema?

Tapos kapag in-off ko aircon, hindi namamatay ilaw dun sa circulation ba iyon, at dun sa selection ng buga ng aircon. Although ngayon ko lang kasi ito napansin, hindi ko alam kung dati na siyang ganun.

anong sasakyan? baka all it needs is a new cabin filter.
normally, newer aircon systems eh di na masyadong pinapalinis, unless nagbabago ang bato ng lamig o may maingay sa compressor, o may amoy.

walang effect ang madumi at mahinang aircon sa FC, unless, may diprensya yung compressor pulley mo na nag strain sa engine.

Standard yan kapag palit ka ng Compressor need to change expansion valve and filter. Dapat din i flush ng solvents ang condenser and Evaporator. New compressor normally have a pre filled compressor oil so no need to add. Change all O rings para sure wlang leaks, then sabay mo na palit ang belts.

Make sure the condenser fan still performing well, most of old fan is umiikot nga but not enough blowing air.

nung nagpakabit ako ng bagong compressor kila mang Mario about 4 years ago nilinis nila buong cooling system...

Go to a proper A/C shop rather than a talyer as they are better equipped. They do some cleaning, change o-ring, clean evaporator, condenser, new freon, etc.

when my sentra's aircon failed as a result of evaporator leak, someone had it replaced with the cheaper laminated design. the resulting coldness was raw ("hilaw").
it became factory-cold again, when i replaced it with the factory-spec and hideously more expensive serpentine design evaporator.

--Prob: Bigla nawala ang AC ng oto (96 model corolla). Fan nlng naandar at nalabas.
--Assesment: wala na daw freon, need Kargahan.
--quotation: 1.5K cleanins and freon recharging services, other problems na mkikita along the way, iba ang charge.

question: is it good to go na po ba? or need pa mag hanap ng iba?

It seems cheap na for 1.5k. Make sure the refrigerant is orig. AC systems should be a sealed system. If there's a leak (losing freon), then there is breakage somewhere.

Base lang ito sa nababasa ko dito, ha. Not an expert. We should wait for others to chime in.

Iniisip ko nga kung need ba talaga ng linis at recharge ng freon..
bka fuse lang or relay.. hehehe

ang siste ksi, running ak while AC ON, tumigil lang ako saglit and then nawala na ang AC ko.

pag nag binubuksan ko ang AC hindi na din nag drop ang idle ko, unlike dati, bumabagsak talaga ang idle during turn ON ng AC.

8k ang binayaran ko dati for cleaning and freon recharge.

Check mo kung reputable yung shop. Kung oo, sulit na yang 1.5k
