HIZZING sound coming out from A/C

Howdy to all, sp. to you tsikoteer gurus, Need your advise on what could be possibly wrong with my a/c, I'm noticing some occasional hissing sound coming out from it, is this normal or needs preventive mx. Although it still blows cold air. Thanks in advance.

sound from the expansion valve, normal..

expansion valve at work. as bluebimmer said, normal po yan.

yup, ganyan sa akin, usually yan ang difference ng replacement na expansion valve sa original part, dinig mo ung hiss, pero dont be alarmed, its just to remind you na its working good!

mine freezes well kaya ok naman....

If you're talking of the hissing sound coming from the blower scroll yung nasa dashboard, it is not normal to hear a sound from there.

1.Please check your evaporator , tingnan mo kung malinis, pag puno ng dirt yan magko-cause ng hissing sound hanggang maging whistling sound yan dahil clogged na ang daanan ng cold air.

2. Check your blower scroll assembly , kung may mga dumi na yan puede rin yang magin cause ng hissing sound.

3. Check your flexible ductings (yung dinaanan ng cold air from evaporator) baka may mga barado na yan.

check mo kung nakaopen lahat ng vents. baka sarado isa. iingay nga yan.

same problem like mine but it was solve nun higpitan namin yun belt kasi maluwag na. i am planning to change them next month.

same prob.. I hope its just the belt..

Hissing sound comming out from air vent is normal.. Very normal.. Nice hearing dude..

Hi again, true that hissing sound came from the working expansion valve but little did I know it's also a sign of of leakage in the evaporator, I have it fixed already, thanks all.
