April 23rd, 2004 02:15 PM #1kahapon bigla taas ng temp while ac is on, pinark ko sa gilid at pagbukas ko ng hood sobra init.. ala naman leak napansin ko yung auxillary fan sa may aircon hindi na umiikot.. pede kaya motor lang palitan (naka seal type) o buong fan na dapat? san shop okay bumili at magkano kaya? also ano dpat na gawin inspection sa pagbili.. salamat po.

April 23rd, 2004 02:35 PM #2could be the thermostat pre. anong model ng car mo? kasi yung sa aircon has nothin to do with engine's cooling system mukhan lang magka-konekta kasi yung fan ng air-con at radiator e magkamukha. anyway, maraming surplus nyan sa banawe. or, yung water pump mo sira or faulty na rin. pa-check mo rin muna to be sure.

April 23rd, 2004 02:50 PM #3Have you checked the FUSE of the fan motor? go check it first then if ok have it replaced asap. May effect din yan coz usually yun radiator nun aircon is infront nun engine radiator, what these fans do is push air inside the engine while yun Fan Blade of the Eng pulls the air naman. If the auxillary fan is not working and your car is not running, nahihirapan yun engine mo to pull air from the front since nakaharang yun radiator nung aircon. Tama din si IAN, sometimes yun Thermostat sa engine is stucked up so the water isn't going around the block & cyl head. Engines from japan kse standard ang thermostat coz cold country sila. We sometimes remove these from the engine esp when diesel.

san ba nakalagay yung fuse ng fan motor?
nag test kasi kami hindi umiikot yung fan dun sa may aircon compressor side. ped eko ba silipin yung thermostat san ba nakalgay yun at pano ko check?
pag water pump dapat may tumutulo sa ilalim ala naman akong nakita.

try to run muna na motor ng rekta sa battery. pag-umandar ang motor ng fan, e di malamang yung "switch mechanism" ang culprit...
it usually have 1 or 2 wires. if 1 wire lang, the body of the motor is the ground, if 2 wires...its simply positive and negative terminal. Pagnapagbaligtad mo ng plug, baligtad din ang rotation ng fan.

April 24th, 2004 03:00 PM #7uaually the fuse is located near th e kick panel sa side mo or near the battery under the hood... last resort mo na yun i open o kalikutin yun motor. wag mo na pa repair if incae sira yun motor nagkalat yan sa surplus shops... hanap ka ng brand na 3D! hehehe just kidding...

April 26th, 2004 07:09 PM #8hindi talaga umiikot yung fan binuksan yung motor ng auxillary fan di na kaya i-repair , tama kahit sealed type pede pala baklasin, yung commutator laspag na.. nagpalit na lang ako ng surplus okay na ngayon.. Salamat po sa lahat ng replies at suggestions.

April 28th, 2004 06:14 PM #9pacheck mo sa electrician. usually busted na yung motor ng ganyan papalitan mo na lang yung motor lang kung kaya nila buksan
