Overheat then check fan not working put water to cool it off then went to Evangelista when I arrived there the fan is working na grrr.
Sometimes I have problems with starting it parang walang contact but after a few clicks with the key oks na he he
Sometimes then when I have my aircon on nag over heat din pinatay ko ok naman. Parang erratic ung prob.
Went to shops to check both fans oks naman hu hu . I insisted to check the aircon system they just gave me remarks blah blah nothing about overheat

ur problem is overheating right? kapag umaandar ba ang aux fan mo wether naka aircon ka or notm nag o overheat pa rin ba ang kotse mo? if ur answer is no, then its simple, may problema ang aux fan ng kotse mo. minsan kase hindi mo nakikita na biglang hihinto ang aux fan nito.
isa sa mga cause nito is baka ubos/maiksi na ung carbon brush ng aux fan or may naglo loose na contacts somewhere sa wiring ng auxillary.
so i suggest u have it checked thoroughly. pabuksan mo kung nararapat para makita mo talaga ang problema.
parehong aux fan ba ang humihinto?

may also want to check yung thermo switch. its usually located dun sa lower part ng radiator. sya yung nag sense ng temp ng water inside, tapos pag na reach na yung set temp. mag switch na sya.
Intermittent talaga ito pag malapit na bumigay.

Naka-on ba both fans mo kung naka-on ang aircon? Malakas pa ba ang buga ng hangin ng fans?
Happened to me before. Namatay aux fan ko. Punta Evangelista para palit aux fan motor. 500 ang motor 100 ang labor. No more overheating problems kahit trafik at tanghaling tapat.
May starting problems din ako dati. Minsan 7 clicks muna bago mag-start. Pinalagyan ko ng relay. 1 click start na uli.Last edited by JohnM; December 1st, 2005 at 05:03 PM.

December 1st, 2005 05:26 PM #5Tx for the fast reply guys anywaz some more details:
Da Evangelista boys check both fans and they declared it malakas naman, I almost argued with them na may problem about overheat and insisted them to check it.
I was really pissed about the problem
I’m thinking na baka contacts nga but WHERE coz , the aircon turn off I am experiencing overheat still. There was this one time when I am almost about to overheat just when I noticed it I just went to side of the road and cool it off and afterwards shut off the engine. After a while turn on the engine I drove again aba ok wala na overheat.
I have a new Bosch relay nga pala
Please do help!

So kahit di ka nag-aircon overheat pa rin? When was the last time you replaced your waterpump?

Kung water pump I suggest you replace your timing belt, tensioner bearings and cam and crankshaft oil seals para isang labor charge na lang.
OEM
timing belt - 2300
tensioner bearing - 800
cam and crankshaft seals - 250 each (500 total)
water pump
replacement (GMB) - 1100
OEM - 4000++
labor - 1200++
