i've often noticed cars with small engines have low aircon performance than those with bigger ones. well ang nahalata ko, specially kung traffic at matindi sikat ng araw, mejo mainit aircon ng mga 1.1 o 1.3 liter engines compared sa mga 1.6 o 1.8 na malamig talaga. so i go asking a mechanic sa casa, he says there is no relevance between the aircon and engine size. totoo nga ba? pls do enlighten me with infos tnx

Not really, because as long as something is spinning the compressor (1.3 or a V8), it will work. Factors to consider are condenser size, evaporator size as well as placement of these components.
On compact cars, these parts tend to be compact as well. On Nissan's, they use huge evaporators and condensers with a large surface area compared to other vehicles in its class.

one factor is ung cleanliness of the line, evaporator, condenser...but the biggest factor lies on the compressor..a bigger and/or efficient compressor will do.. but the compressor should not be too big for the engine, because engine performance will suffer, dapat balance lang...
It's looking a lot like a certain cruiser with that color scheme.
