December 1st, 2010 09:03 AM #1good day mga boss!., My car occasionally squeaks when I open the AC.., but it immidiately goes away if I turn it off.., the squeaking sound just goes away after a series of flicking the AC on and off., what could be the problem? where can I have it done for a reasonable price?

December 1st, 2010 09:25 AM #2It could be a loose fan belt on the A/C which is causing the squeking sound. Any car shop can have this done by re-tightening the belt and also have it inspected if the belt needs replacement.

high possibility na fan belt yan. do not put lube on the belts nasisira yan

Well I have sprayed silicon lube on mine every month or so, it helps condition them and prevents cracking and splitting, which I'm sure is the last thing you want to happen on them. Silicon grease is different from WD40, it's a rubber conditioner.
