May 9th, 2006 12:49 PM #1many aircon threads here pero ndi ako makakita ng kotse with the same problem as mine.
kasi when i turn on the aircon, meron sound na katulad ng sa cricket mula sa engine bay. i suspect it has something to do with the electricals of the aircon. syempre pag off ng aircon wala na yung sound.
balak ko dalhin sa pagawaan pero i need some idea kung anu possible causes para ndi naman ako lokohin ng gagawa.
is this related to the relay thing???
tnx!!!

di ko ma-imagine yung cricket sound ehehehe! cricket! cricket!
why not pop the hood and check where the sound is coming from? baka sa a/c clutch? pwede din sa idler bearing?

May 9th, 2006 02:47 PM #4hehehe cricket i mean kuliglig (the insect and not the vehicle). dito kasi ako nakatira bundok (literally) kaya yun naisip ko description.
the sound is like the timer of the oven toaster (more or less) but a little bit faster. papacheck ko na lang din pero i am still waiting for some comments! :D

kung mahilig ka DIY, gumamit ka stetoscope, palitan mo yung dulo ng aluminum rod, and listen near the belts, pulleys or bearings
