    i have experienced that when i use spray type car freshener, the a/c's expansion valve becomes noisy, it makes that whistling sound. or maybe the noise is in the evaporator. i'm sure its emanating from under the glove compartment.

    i dont know if it's just coincidental but it happened twice already on two different cars.

    any of you have the same experience?

    maybe you using a very ***y scent
    sreiously you can try it again and agin to confirm further.
    maybe it's just coincidence.
