Aircon problem

Bro, yung aircon ko may pumapasok na usok lalo na pag may merong smoke belcher na jeep or bus sa harap. ano kaya problem nun?

what car? pa check mo yung vents na kumukuha ng air from the outside, baka sira na yung mga foam seals. you can have this permanently sealed kung di ka naman gumagamit ng fresh-air mode.

Its a worn-out foam vent dampers. Recommend to have it sealed permanently to prevent unwanted outside air odours and stick to interior air circulation instead.

oks yan, mitsu din yung sa akin. kakapagawa ko lang sabay na din cleaning. had it sealed since hindi naman ako gumagamit ng fresh air mode. kung sa las pinas area ka, try mo sa ceejays. HTH.

Nazq: same problem sa akin, pwede ba nila i seal maski na hinde babaklasin yung evaporator? malamig pa kasi ang ac ko, pa service ko lang yung vents. magkano singil sa CJ's? thanks

n5110> di ko sure sa Civic mo pero dun sa lancer kasi kailangan tangalin talaga dahil yung fan assembly nasa likod ng evaporator. andun kasi sa may fan assembly yung vent na tatakpan. nagpalinis lang ako ng evaporator pati karga ng r134a, kasama na daw yung seal sa service nila (1k). check mo na lang kung magkano kung yun lang..

Pwede mo subukan i-seal galing sa labas. Just take out the plastic cowling (the grilles where the wipers rest on) and put duct tape on the opening in the metal underneath. That's where the fresh air comes in.

nazq&otep: thanks sir sa mga inputs. tried to remove the plastic cowling, yung mga round plastic locks pero parang ayaw niyang kumalas, nakasira na kasi ako nito dati bago ko nalaman ang tamang pag tangal. anyways try ko na lang pumasyal sa CJ's dito sa laspinas, check ng aircon at patignan ko na rin ito.. thanks again.

What i have is an airfilter thingie from Honeywell...ionizer ata yun. takes out the smell of cigarette odor.
