Ano nangyari sa a/c mo? I know a shop that can repair it for a cheaper price. Dito malapit sa SM City North EDSA. When do you need it repaired? Hanggang October 17 pa kasi exams ko, eh. I can always give you directions to the place if you want.

Bahay lang 'yun pero a/c guru ang nakatira. Hindi siya ganun ka-kumpleto sa gamit pero mahilig talaga sa a/c ito.

Our MB100 was quoted at around Php 10,000.00 sa ibang shops (huwag mo na alamin what the dealer wanted to charge us). I think the did the job for around Php 4,500.00.

well...it's been in this banawe shop since monday...tapos hindi ko na inasikaso..
i have no time kasi...someone told me kasi mahal...like refrigerant pa lang is normally 300 daw..and the compressor can be 13000 lang...someone naman said compressor is 20k...dnt know what to believe...

problem ko kasi my mom brings it to this shop na ayaw ko ng gamitin so i said ako na bahala...(meaning ill pay also) PERO AYOKO MAGLABAS NG 26-33k!!!! anyway...sabi ko suprlus na compressor muna......i'll pay for that tapos next year papabili na lang ako sa mom ko ng bagong compressor. :lol:

anyway...it's still there...probably get it monday...

By the look of that estimate, the shop you went to is essentially asking you to replace the whole a/c system of your vehicle. Ano ba talaga nangyari? I have never heard of an HVAC system go into a catastrophic failure like that before. Usually limited sa areas like evaporators, compressors or plumbing pero not all at the same time.

Most compressors are servicable. Tamad lang ang shop na magsasabi sa iyo na you need a new one. I broke the shaft on my compressor and the shop just replaced it since most of the internals were still good.

Just holler if you need help, ok. Malapit na bakasyon ko.

OTEP: thanks..ang bait mo naman...pero mag aamuy taliban naman ako kung hihintayin pa kita...:lol:... anyway...had it fixed na..it's been there since monday.

one night lang...ok pa namn siya...it was cold... then in a matter of seconds...nawalan ng lamig...then...nag smoke yung hood ko. i thought nag overheat (though yung meter ok lang naman)...yun pla...yung refrigerant yung umusok..so bka daw may butas..then papaayos ko..ayun...


oh well... thats life...imagine kung 30 nga yung babayarin ko mas gugustuhin ko na lang bumili ng helmet na arai ...

May nag quote din sa kin nung may problema A/C ko mga more or less aabot ng 5-6 k, (hindi kasama yung compressor) yung nirecommend ni otep na shop ang binayad ko lang 1,800 may tip na dun.. ang papalitan lang nila eh yung kelangan lang talaga na palitan sobrang sulit at bait ng may-ari at okay pa mag trabaho malinis at maayos..:D

I replaced my van's whole a/c system last year......and it only cost me 18,000 Php.....new sanden condenser......drier......etc. etc.....your quotation is really sky high.....that's what I call highway robbery....:D

boss ano po oto nyo? kakapalinis ko lang kasi ng aircon and pinalitan yung evaporator and expansion valve ko.. medyo mataas po yung evaporator eh, 7,800. yung sa akin almost 4,000 lang sa citimotors las pinas (car ko is mits lancer 2000). yung sa expansion valve, almost the same lang.

kakalinis lang ng auto ko yesterday and it cost me arnd Php3500 only... General Ovehaul yung ginawa.. hindi General Cleaning!

That's includes replacement of Filter drier, expansion valve & general cleaning (kasama na lahat pati pagkarga since they drained everything)
