but, do the math.

if you spent 6k for a surplus compressor, and it conks out after a month or two, naturally, you would have to spend another 6k again for another surplus compressor.wala pa dyan ang labor and installation, which is around 1.5k - 2k.

if you would get a new one at lets say 14k, you an use it for another five years or more. mas sulit diba?

sa kamias, vinaire ang pangalan. yung nakuha kong sanden 507 brandnew ay P4k lang, 2 saturdays ago. sa may tapat ng petron kalayaan. 920-8509. depende din siguro kung anong kotse mo. sa akin kasi pang-corolla yun...

just had my compressor replaced 3 weeks ago (99 ek civic.) Had it serviced sa casa quezon ave. as it had been since it was new.

Total damage was... -Are you sitting down?- was 28k. Receipt shows 19k for the new compressor.

Masakit sa bulsa i know, but it's the same OE sanden (or was it denso?) compressor model that served reliably for 9 years/180K kilometers.

may tama na daw yung shaft seal kaya may leak na yung compressor, tapos di na daw pwede i repair kasi na repair na baka daw mag pa balik balik lang ako. i dont know kung totoo yung sinabi nung tumingin medyo duda nga ako eh! magkano kaya aabutin ito pag pina repair? thanks for your reply sir.

Kung wala namang internal damage yung compressor at sa shaft seal lang may problema there's still a chance na magawan pa ng paraan, if you are in metro manila marami namang mabibilihan ng shaft seal. Ano ba exact model ng compressor mo?

if you want less hassle go for the brand new one. you normally need to do a complete flush of the system when you replace it so sure ka walang natirang debris sa loob.

mga sir! thank you sa mga advice nyo! ok na yung compressor ko may nakita na akong pwedeng mag repair nung shaft seal ng compressor, dito rin sa las pinas, ceejay's aircon shop mukhang ok naman silang mag trabaho. dinala ko yung liteace ko the other day ok naman ang trabaho nila sa aircon ko super lamig ngayon. the best ang service sa ceejay's totoo ang sabi ng mga tsikoteers may libreng coffee, sofdrinks at may mirienda pa! hehehe! bilib ako sa service at courtesy ng mga tao dun! post ko na lang result mga bosing!
