For riders looking to upgrade from a basic scooter without spending NMAX money, the Yamaha Lexi offers an interesting middle ground. It combines the performance of a 155cc engine with a more practical and commuter-friendly setup, all while staying below the ₱100k mark.
Powering the Lexi is a 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Yamaha says the scooter produces 15.1 hp and 14.2 Nm of torque, putting it on par with many other 155cc scooters currently available in the market.

The Lexi focuses heavily on comfort and practicality for daily use. One of its standout features is its wide footboard, giving riders extra space for carrying small bags, groceries, or work items. It also gets a spacious two-person seat and underseat storage for additional convenience.
It comes equipped with LED lighting, a USB-ready charging port, stop-and-start system, LCD instrument panel, and Yamaha’s Y-Connect smartphone application. Through the app, riders can monitor fuel consumption, track their motorcycle’s location, and receive maintenance recommendations.
Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic front fork and a rear single-sided swing arm with a shock absorber. The Lexi rides on 14-inch wheels wrapped in tubeless tires.

Priced at ₱99,900, the Lexi can also be financed for as low as ₱2,683 per month (based on a 50% downpayment), making it one of the more accessible options in Yamaha’s 155cc lineup.
