For those who have dark tint on the windshield.
Before I had dark tint all around, even the front. But I had to remove the front tint because at night, I couldn't see! My visibility went down a lot!
What's a good wattage bulb I should use? Also, will bumper lights help with driving visibility by a lot? If so, how much should I expect to pay for lights on my bumper? and what kind should I get?
Before, if I used my highbeams at night when the roads were empty, I could see perfectly, but, with low beams that's where I had problems.Thanx

If you want a stellar tint job go to Winterpine. Most of our vehicles are tinted at Jaffas. Minsan talaga may mga maliliit na imperfections. Pero wala namang naging problem regarding huge bubbles, etc. Minsan may small scratches din. I guess that's what you get when you try to tint a panoramic (curved) windshield on a 30 year old car with no cuts. Sila din nagtint ng Pajero ko back in '01 and ok pa din up to now. No fading, no bubbles. Yung gasgas ako na nakagasgas the glass got hit by some luggage I was carrying. No complaints also.
Kapag 3M HP or Black Chrome, tumataginting na Php9,100.00 daw all around (seamless windshield, 2 pc on back glass).
I'm thinking of dark (ST5?) for the rear part and lighter shade (ST35?) for the front windows and winshield.
Ok ba ang 3M ST series? Wala naman ako masyadong high expectations. Privacy lang while maintaining acceptable outward visibility.

Big coincidence!
Nagpa tint rin ako kay Jaffas this week and the same tint na solargard at 2.9k nga lang. Napamahal pa ng 200.
Di rin satisfied sa front install since may 3 lines na tig 1-1.5 inches ang haba and around a quarter of a cm ang kapal sa upper right corner. It took him close to 3 hours to tint my car. Ganun ba katagal? I plan to bring it back to them next week to have the lines fixed OR get warranty for it.
I hope I dont get the same treatment as mynvidia.

IMO, as long you can leave with the imperfections of the tint then ok narin, besides the very cheap price, la ata talagang perfect na pag install ng tint even mine that was installed in an enclosed room with 2 installers carefully doing my tint. may mga defects parin and it took me almost 3 hrs. rin for a sedan.
3 hrs. for me is quite long pero kita mo talgang pinagtyagaan, depende sa installer yan kung mamadaliin nila.

Try LA Cars in Makati may tint room sila kasi it minimize the dust and bubbles that may occur.

Additional feedback, I noticed there is a computer printed mark on the tint that Jaffas installed on my car. Sunbloc ang nakalagay. I ordered for Solargard tint.
Kaya pala mas mura compared to the Solargard installer sa San Juan. Di pala Solargard and ininstall.Im not sure where this brand is made or if its any good. Feeling naloko ako ngayon
All trying to earn a quick buck?
Saw in a mymitsu thread that Sunbloc tint is just 2.2k one piece in a different shop (do sunbloc tint search on google) vs the 2.9k i paid Jaffas.
Very incovenient for me to go back. Good thing di ganun kalaki ang nagastos.
Hopefully, it was an honest mistake on their part (think positive pa rin) and the tint will do its work of blocking heat (w/c is why I had tint installed on my car).

I have a question na hindi technical sa pagpapatint ...
TIA

re: registration sticker
tinatanggal yun tapos i-laminate.
BTW, when we had our car tinted(winterpine), it did'nt take 3 hours to finish the job. Matagal ata masyado yun.
