Rev oh thanks sir . Yeah i was choosing between solarguard or vkool eh di naman masyado concern ang price since i already prepare a budget for that iba na kasi init nowadays so i think i really have to change my tint. So mas ok vkool when it comes to heat rejection? I live in bf homes paranaque so alabang branch would be the best choice for me pero if other branches have better quality when it comes on installing the tint then i would prefer that

No problem KrisVios04AT. The one in Alabang is a SolarGard dealer. If you want V Kool, closest is in Ortigas of tint hub group.. take entrance to the right after the stoplight in front of Meralco head office if you are coming from EDSA/Rob Galleria. Look for Pinky.

    saan ba yung Solargard Santolan?
it is between Wheel Gallery and Petron. may sign naman ng Solar Gard so you won't miss it. malapit lang sa intersection.

and reasonable ba ang prices niya?
yes. reasonable price + 5 years warranty.

    Re: Solargard Santolan

    SHORT FEEDBACK: POSITIVE

Let me start with the only CON about this place. Its expensive! Compared to your typical Banawe Solar Gard installer they are much more pricey. But I will detail why its worth it naman...

Before going to this place though I highly recommend to have an appointment and make it at 8AM (their opening) because there were a number of people already queuing after me (I was the first for today, 8AM sharp I was there already and already set an appointment last week pa). And always bring CASH, because they charge an extra 7% for credit card transactions.

You can customise what you want, they can even give you suggestions on what fits more for your car... For example, for my Lexus IS200 the front side windows are smoked from the factory already (tinted glass) but the back sides are not. So the lady suggested to have my front with a lighter shade and the back with a darker shade to somehow make them equal in terms of darkness when viewed from the outside. So I used LX40 (Solar Gard's TOTL) on the front windshield and the moonroof as these two requires the best heat rejection at the same time good visibiity. Then Quantum 17's on the side and the back. LX40 has a 10 year warranty which covers discoloration and bubbles. While the Quantums have a 5 year warranty.

So here is there tint room, enclosed and air conditioned... Now that is already one major difference compared to your Banawe installers... So dust and particles are kept at a minimum when performing the operation.

They also work very fast and clean, they use 3-4 people at a time to quicken the job. Banawe installers typically use just 1 person so it takes around 3 hours or more. My whole tinting procedure only to took an hour and a half and that already includes a moonroof. On top of that the guys here are veterans, they work quick and move quick... They also use towels when they work inside as to avoid getting your interiors wet when they spray it with their water solution when sticking the tint.

Here is the final product when viewed from the outside...

    FRONT: (LX40)

    SIDE: (Quantum)

    BACK: (Quantum)

And when viewed from the inside...

    FRONT:

    SIDE:

    BACK:

Very satisfied with their work! And as for the heat rejection, I am very satisfied even when its fully baked in the sun a few minutes with the aircon on #1 fan can cool the cabin down. Now my butt will never ever get burnt by the leather seat! :P

Sir Tidus, actually Solar Gard Santolan is one of the best places to get tints, so far sila ang pinakamalinis mag tint sa lahat ng mga napagawan ko, usually I only bring better cars to Solar Gard, if its our older or lower end cars I just bring them to Banawe or Autodresscode in Santolan Pasig since this is 5 minutes away from me.

how much ang cost ng tint mo? i believe ang LX40 sa windshield ang nagpamahal dyan. hindi naman nagkakalayo prices ng Solar Gard branches eh.

tama nga. Solar Gard Santolan is not actually pricier. mahal lang talaga LX series. if wrap around HP Quantum kasi yan, P5k to P6k lang ang babayaran mo.

guys, kamusta solar gard tint nyo sa rear windshield? yung pinalagay ko kasi ang daming bubbles at dumi sa loob galing sa felt material ng backboard. nung ipapa-backjob ko, sabi nila dapat tanggalin ang rear seats at backboard para pulido talaga ang gawa. kaso baka daw may mabaling clips dahil 1st time nila yun for 2014 honda city. any thoughts or suggestions?
