For reference I was also quoted 5.5k for the entry level Iceberg Series, and 12.5k for the Charcoal Series.
    Nice.

I'm scheduled this Friday 9am same branch.

I'll get the clear sky 9060 sa windshield and Reflective neutral for the rest.

got the clearsky 9060. satisfied so far, laki ng improvement compared sa nanotech reflective series.

Need to observe more during night time driving.

Down side.

I had medium reflective series installed about a year and a half ago. Napapansin ko lately na medyo hindi na pantay ang shade ng tint sa side windows. Heat rejection is still the same at pag titingin ka sa bintana from inside or outside mukhang pantay naman ang kulay.

Yun nga lang pag mag-rolldown ako ng bintana makikita na parang pache-pache na yung film. Time to replace? Or should I ignore it until the discoloration becomes more obvious? May ilang taon pa naman ang warranty.

Yung Security film nilang mura walang heat rejection. Yung mas mahal na Security film ang may heat rejection.

    Hello everyone,

I happened to see this topic and I'd like to share my experience with LA Cars. Through an internet advertising I came to know about this shop. It was 2013 and I was looking for an audio upgrade and with their advertisement, I decided to avail of DLS sound system. That's the time I saw nanotech tint.

After a month or so, I went back to have that nanotech tint installed. Since then, I noticed a big difference in heat rejection with my previous tint on my CR-V. I had no issue so far.

With the topic I've read somewhere saying some negative comments, I'm somehow alarmed if I really made a mistake (please read back a few pages about review of LA Cars, I still don't know how to use link). I know it's foolish on my part not to search further (I'm not an online guy, I don't even have Facebook), but I made the purchase back in 2013 and there's nothing I can do about it.

The same is true for me when I purchased Mazda 6 SKYACTIV-D, I didn't see the unit and never tried to drive it. I just relied to the articles I've read. Good thing that we have members here saying that it really is a good buy. I'll get the unit next week. It should have been today, but I am assigned here in Manila and to Boracay so I have to wait further.

Going back to nanotech tint, I have no objective comparison except for that old tint on my CR-V. I'm satisfied with the service and have no issues so far. Another thing, you can avail of discount if you post a review on their Facebook page. I asked my wife to do this just to get the discount. Is the review in that Facebook accurate? That I cannot answer, I just wanted to get the discount. Now I just realized, I might have contributed to the review (in a positive way) and might have affected the decision of some prospective customers. Since I'm starting to be active online and relying on reviews, I find my "act" to be bothering. I'd like to apologize on this part. Starting today, I won't make any review just to avail of the offered discount.

Has anyone tried the Nano-tech MAX series from LA car accessories? Clearsky kasi lahat ng nababasa ko. Just wondering if may nakatry na ng MAX series. They claim it to have the most heat rejection from their tint lineup(99% IR/UV Rejection). It appears to be the darker version of Clearsky. Kumusta naman kaya visibility at night?

I'm planning to get the MAX series kasi. Clearsky is good but I need the privacy that the MAX series brings.

Had Charcoal Neutral installed on my Wildtrak windshield at LA (tintroom) Davao the other month and the heat rejection is great! Mabilis din cooldown even when parked under sa araw.

Sadly our eyes are not that good at night anymore though it has 32% VLT already. The tint is very good, my eyes (and father’s) not much. So will replace it with ClearSky sa windshield this month for optimum night (rain, fogs) visibility. Quote is p7.5k ws only. Bigay po ako update dito later. [emoji74][emoji120]

I couldn't find any reference about the brand they are using. All brands that they have, you can read it online except for the nano tech.

I was also considering nanotech before but I read somewhere na to be cautious with this tint since kadudaduda kung bakit walang info sa net on this film aside sa website ng LA Tintroom. If we can easily get info on 3m vkool and others then why not nanotech. The info technology on tints or films are everywhere but not on this nanotech tints. So, something might be fishy. Just my opinion.

I have one installed on our CR-V. Heat rejection is excellent comparing it to the old tint. Unfortunately, I have no objective comparison.

Pareho po siguro tayo lahat when it comes to spending our money and time mga bossings.

I learnt the hard way that the only tint values that matters are: VLT and TSER. The rest like IRR, UVR, etc, not much (marketing BS if I should say).

I was already burnt with installing Sunbloc na p9.5k (windshield only) pero performance was lame, TSER po nun was only < 50%! Compared to NanoTech Charcoal Neutral na 60% TSER, malaki difference sa heat rejection. I had 3m, lumina, v-kool tints before.

So ngayun very specific ako to get tints with TSER values na >= 60%.

Ingat din po sa 3m and other brands, make sure orig po yan. Dami din po pekeng tints naglipana. Less than a year palit ka na tint.

Duda rin ako dati sa nanotech, so pinuntahan ko po store nila haha. Now (based on experience na rin) I am confident sa TintRoom Davao kasi may dedicated tinting shop sila.

Well, now you have first-hand reviews here. I've had nano-tech reflective medium all around for 4 years. No problem with direct sunlight shining through the windows and windshield, hindi nakakapaso.

For me it's enough to compare how hot it feels when your arm is under direct sunlight with window open and with tinted window closed. If it gets warm but doesn't burn at all, then it works.

In that case, I'll have to give an "excellent review" with nano tech. In comparison with the "free" Huper Optics (is my spelling correct?), I felt right away the heat the first time I used the car in the middle of the day.

I know right away that it is from the tint and so I was contemplating on having the car tinted with nano tech. However, I got used to it for the past two years so I haven't replaced it yet. The cheapskate in me...

Another thing that I'm considering is, aside from the lack of online reviews about the brand, LA Cars seems to have a "bad reputation" here in this forum. Someone replied to me regarding that and I can't recall where.

IIRC, they sold fake v-kool tint back in the day.

    Thanks for the update sir!

May I know exactly what kind of Sunbloc tint was installed in your windshield?

I'm also torn between the two kasi for my front windshield (Sunbloc & NanoTech).

My current tint set up is 3M medium shade in all windows and just want to change the windshield to a neutral shade kasi hirap sa gabi pag provincial/unlit roads and mismatch sa stock HID projector ko.

Nano-Tech anyone?
