    have this piece of advice...

    cats hate hot sauce!

this technique is already being used to deter them from scratching furnitures... you may want to try these on your car...

not exactly on your car! hehehe... maybe put some in a sponge and let it lie near your windshield or use hot sauce as wheel black!

hunt down the cats. When I was in my teens, I hunted down nearly 20 cats in under two years in our neghborhood with my air rifle.

    chinkychard,
hehe ginawa ko rin yun yung nakabukas yung hood overnight... effective nung first few days pero after that it found a way to climb up pa rin! bad trip hehe... tahat time pati valve cover may paw prints na rin.

So far wala na yung mga pusa after I "relocated" them hehe... pag may bumalik ulit subukan ko yang Hot sauce hehe... Tabasco ba? or Mother's best? hehe

This gadget is emitting a high pitch sound w/ is harmless to human but irritating to animals....Very effective dahil wala nang stray cat sa hood at engine bay ng kotse ko...

Cats hates citrus and sometimes mint or menthol.
Citrus-scented sprays and cleaners can be used to ward off a cat from an area where he doesn't belong. Additionally, mothballs have been used to repel cats from gardens, since cats cannot stand the smell of them.

i have this problem as well in the past, i tried washing the roof of my car (where the cat usually sleeps and make an acidic/stinky mess) with liquid soap and not rinse it on a daily basis for couple of weeks to no effect, until i tried a citrus scented liquid soap and it does make wonders the next day to my surprise my car only have paw prints on the hood, i guess the cat retreated upon jumping on the car and the day after the cat never came back.

So you could wash your car with citrus scented soap or you can just spray the liquid soap on spots around the car to act as a barrier around your car
    problem solved
