cannot remove water marks sa windshield...

please help... ang daming water marks sa mga glasses ng auto ko especially sa windshield... hindi naman maalis ng ordinary car shampoo...

what should i do? :roll:

ack! same prob! mas lalo na dun sa parts na hindi napupunasan ng wipers! got mine 2nd hand and ganun na yun... wala bang makakatulong dito?

OO nga ako din.
Pinapa-rubbing yan with rubbing
compound. Matagal at ma-trabaho.
Ipa-trabaho mo na lang sa detailing
shop.

Go to Concorde and see if they still have Pylon's Strip-It. Review can be found in theveed's PAD forum.

Alternatively, you can also try AutoSol Metal Polish (Yup, metal polish).

If you have a buffer, mga 15 minutes lang iyan. If by hand, about one hour siguro for a windshield.

Technique:

Clean windshield first.

Apply product (little only -- siguro half a teaspoon to a teaspoon worth for a whole windshield). Surface my be misted with distilled water (slight misting only!). Work product in until it practically disappears.

Mist with distilled water again and wipe clean.

Repeat if necessary.

sa sobrang depressed ko about this... i tried "tide solution" last night... tide powder mixed with purified water.

mga 1 hour ko din pinunasan yung windshield and mga windows... kailangan lang madiin ang pagpunas in a circular motion para mawala talaga... pati sa pag banlaw pinunasan ko din ng madiin in a circular motion with running water... atlas, nawala na! whew!

ingat lang kasi i think nakakasira ng car paint yung "tide solution"...

pag severe na water marks use glass and chrome cleaner available at meguiars kamias mejo nakakpagod lang to i apply.

STRIP IT ang solusyon dyan.

Apply it 2-3 times siguradong tanggal water spots.

I tried it last July 2002 up to now wala pa ring spots, malinis pa rin yung pahid ng wiper.

P370 yata yung bili ko nun e.

after applying my "tide solution" bumalik ulit yung water marks ko sa windshield... what i did was, dinala ko na sa detailing shop... they used meg all purpose tapos naalis na!

but the thing is--- ginasgasan nila windshield ko!!! argh! :evil: and nung binalik ko, sorry na lang daw kasi medyo malalim na yung gasgas! :evil:

so for everyone, dont go to "Go Car" Auto-detailing shop which is along President's Ave. in BF Homes P'que...

ok! STRIP IT... i'll try this! but hindi ba yun nakakadegrade ng glass??? like baka magkaroon ng grado or something?

I agree with mbt, I had the same problem and used this method. Mabantot ng kaunti pero it works. Hey, that's all matters, isn't it?

garantisado yung strip-it... i tried the vinegar solution, pero did not work for me.. siguro sobrang nanikit na yung watermarks.. eniweys. sa concorde ko nabili yung strip-it..

ano ba ginamit nila apc+ and compound ba na from megs ang ginamit nila. me kasi they used compund yata yun sa simex pero bumalik din yun water marks 1 week lang sya ok ngayon parang gaspang ng glas ko.

meg "daw" eh... nung pinakita sakin color white yung wax na nakalagay sa white na plastic na lalagyan... :roll:

medyo nga may mga water marks na naman ako... but i think it's because of the kind of water we have in paranaque...
