    I also have astismatism and poor eyesight, i am assuming you wear eyeglasses too. The first thing you need is eyeglasses with anti-glare properties. they are untinted. When you hold them up against the light , the light reflection is colored green or blue. I think glare is caused by the light reflected behind lens of the eyeglass then to the eyes, not the ones hitting directly the lens. I use them at night better than tinted ones that i previously use
