    Mr squeaky is very effective in my experience. Although it becomes tedious on heavy watermarks, it does the job. Maybe you are not doing it correctly?

    you can try removing it with plain water first. if it don't work, try using the usual commercial preparations or household medicine cabinet rubbing alcohol..
    read carefully the bewares. some of these things may react with the tint's materials. try it out first at a "sacrificial area", in case it proves disfiguring.
    if nothing works, you can always replace the tint film. heh heh.
