I just saw an error message pertaining to the memcache. Perhaps our good admins can take a look at the RAM utilization of the servers. On the one hand, it is an indication of a possible increase in traffic

Admins/mods... I ran a load test on the site and could see that the time to first byte (TTFB) on the server hosting the tsikot.com system is very high, sometimes lasting 15-20 seconds per page element. This indicates either high CPU load (long-running scripts), memory thrashing (data is swapped between RAM and disk, possibly high traffic), or long wait times to the DB (if it's the DB that is getting thrashed). Web elements served from your CDN service are not too bad, but 2-3 second load times for CDN-based content is still not optimum (it's good to know you're using a CDN though ).

I can give you screen shots of the tests I ran from a Singapore-based server if you want, or if you prefer other members to see the results (there might be some web gurus lurking somewhere here who could help), I can upload the screen caps to imageshack. Just let me know.

as of this posting (1:47AM), ang bilis ng tsikot.
    mababa kasi traffic.

pero pag day time, ang bagal na.
dati nung kala-launch lang yung "new tsikot", di naman ganito kabagal.

we are isolating the problem mula nung unang araw na naranasan yung pagbagal... nahihirapan lang kami icheck kung anong application ang nagpagal sa server.

    don't worry chua_riwap...

we're isolating the persistent problem plaguing our server. we temporarily disabled several plugins including TCash. Once we have isolated the problem/s and address it/them, we will activate them again.

    thank you for your patience.
