Being active in the discussion is not is required from the MODs. Being close to the people you are trying to get to behave properly may actually impede the effectiveness of a MOD.

kung naabutan niyo si mazdamazda, hes' the best moderator EVER ng tsikot. strict but fair. kung siya pa moderator ngayon hinde ubra yun nangyayari ngayon sa tsikot. nip in the bud so to speak.
