Forum feedback for the admins and mods

Hi Tsikot forum admins and mods.

It seems the forum is finally loading quickly these days without stumbling and timing out on its own every time I want to access a certain thread. Kudos, good work. It took a pretty long while to see stability and speed on my end and it turned me off Tsikot for a few months.

My only remaining gripe now is...
What happened to the dropdown list for all the sub-forums? Pretty much every car forum I go do has this, yet you have this disabled for some reason...to the detriment of navigation. It feels unintuitive to go down to a subforum, go back up to the home page, then click on the next subforum you want to view.

Actually us Moderators do not have any control or power over the changes you stated. These are exclusively for the administration to make. We just take them in as they come just like everybody else.

I suggest you send your sentiments via PM to Jedi for a more prompt reply.

Good afternoon. No it is not a glitch anymore. I can not check on my own posts, view new posts for the day, I can not check the threads that I have started. Is there anyone out there who can possibly help me out? I would like to believe that I do have good standing but anything I click now would say, you do not have permission or enough privilege.

Any help or reply will be highly appreciated.

I re-read the forum rules and policies and I am highlighting:

5) You will respect other people's right to personal privacy. You will not post any other person's identifying information

(including their contact information, and any other relevant information) within the forum but your own.

I noted a post (under Goon Squad) regarding a White Fortuner whose plate number was the title of the thread itself. Inside the thread, a picture of the vehicle is displayed. Isn't this a violation of the policy indicated above? Please look into this matter as this is truly alarming and I pity the vehicle owner himself (who may not even be a member of this forum)- he is not aware that he is being judged upon and his identity has been compromised.

But that's Goon Squad HQ, where people report cases where particular information may be required to be disclosed. I'm thinking that it's almost impossible to point out a violator with just "white Fortuner" as a description. But that's just me.

I think Goon Squad HQ can be exempted for that rule. There are lots of white fortuners that are currently running on MM roads. Posting such image w/ plate included, excludes that vehicle from others and at the same time it makes us tsikoteers aware of that particular fortuner's behavior.

And, to think that the driver almost sideswiped the thread starter. Do you still think that the Fortuner's plate should be covered ? Well, for me .. after the behavior he has done, exposing his plate to the public is okay.
