Acceding to overwhelming requests for a Username Amnesty Program, tsikot.com administrators will now allow loyal and active members to request for a change of their usernames. This is also in preparation for the launching of the Tsikot Card (TCard) where the member's tsikot username will be prominently featured.

1. This program can be availed only by Tsikoteers (or members with 300 posts or above) during the amnesty period only. If you still don't belong to the Tsikoteer usergroup, just make sure you have 300 posts before the end of the program duration.

2. The Tsikoteer's old nick will be his customized title. This is to orient/inform the other members of the amnestied former nick/identity. It is requested that this customized title (old nick) should be maintained for at least six months (until April 2008).

3. The requested new nick is final. New nicks can never be changed anytime in the future. A Tsikoteer is entitled only to one username/nick change, so think and think well.

4. As usual and consistent with our registration/posting rules, the requested username/nicks should subscribe to the basic requirements of decency, morality, legality and good taste. As such, all new requested usernames/nicks are subject to approval. Nicks can only be 3 - 15 alpha-numeric characters long only. No special characters and symbols allowed.

5. If you are a Tsikoteer and wishes to have your username/nick changed, just reply to this post with this message:

I request for a new username: new_username

all non-request replies and messages will be soft-deleted. So it is requested that all replies to this thread should just be requests and nothing else.

6. All username/nicks change request will be acted upon within 24 hours after the end of the program duration or on October 4, 2007.
