    ghosthunter,

Looks like you're really abreast with the latest wedding prices. Planning for your wedding also? hehehe

Here's my two cents on the subject...

For the church, the more expensive ones like Santuario San Antonio, Shrine of Jesus etc. will cost you about 20K. Of course the more expensive ones are most likely to have A/C included in the package.

For the reception, hotels tend to be more expensive, BUT... you get a lot of freebees that comes with your package. You don't have to worry about the car, flowers, room, and cake, just to name a few. Ang lumabas sa canvassing namin ng gf ko, maganda yung mga package ng Mandarin. You can go as low as 780 or so per head sa buffet. The ballroom naman is not that small naman. It can hold about 300 - 350 people easily. O nga pala, kasama narin yung strings sa wedding package ng Mandarin. May one round of drinks (softdrinks and iced tea) for all your guests, 6 bottles free wine, and 5 bottles free corkage. Masarap pa yung pagkain.

For the others things naman eto yung ballpark budget,

    Photographer is about 60K

Flowers from Dangwa for the ballroom decor and centerpieces is 50K. Including narin the bouquets and other flowers. Yung flowers to be used are tulips, roses, orchids, cala lilies, and other spring flowers.

Our Invites were done by Ever Engraving. Mura yung invites nila. Yung sa amin is about 80 per piece. Another good source would be Prinsonalities.

Yung ang usually malalaking gastos. The others medyo maliit nalang yung cash out.

    Cheers!

    green,

Hmmm... helpful info. Me and my wife are thinking of a wedding sa Pinas.
This thread is excellent. No need to hire a wedding planner. Keep it coming folks.

    Litespeed,

Actually we also hired a wedding planner. Came up to be about 20K including their RSVP Services.

We basically still plan for the wedding like talking to the suppliers and stuff. But one month or so before the wedding, we trun over everything to them and they do the follow up and the logistics during the day. Not a bad price to pay caonsidering you'll be almost stress free a month before the wedding!

Since you're from the States, you can check out the photographer we got. He does pictorials in the States. www.folrana.com

Good Luck in your wedding planning!

    green,
If you don't mind emailing me the contact person of your wedding planner. I am going home next month with my wife and daughter. Medyo outdated na ako sa prices and hotels, etc. sa atin (7 long years). We nned some assistance aside from our immediate family. Busy rin sila.

    My email: rfajard1*optonline.net.

Thanks. (Kamukha ba ni Jennifer Lopez ang wedding planner mo?):D j/k
