    Uber's other battlegrounds:

Brazil -- Uber is competing with a homegrown ride-hailing company called 99 which was recently bought by Didi Chuxing (which beat the crap out of Uber in China... Softbank is a Didi shareholder)

India -- Uber is competing with Ola which is more popular than Uber

Japan -- Uber is trying to compete with Japanese taxi companies (hahaha good luck) and also Didi which is also offering ride-hailing service in Japan

Australia -- Uber is competing with Ola and Taxify (both of which are backed by Didi)

Uber is facing tough competition wherever it goes

that's what happens when you have an idea that's easy to replicate and your competitors have big bucks like you

Ano naman magagawa nang Phil competition comm? Eh binenta na nga ng uber sa grab ang market nila dito.

Sasabihin nila na monopoly na pero wala din naman magagawa. Waste of time ang pag imbestiga.

I think grab's price is the correct figure. Uber is subsidizing their fare Kaya mas mababa.
