I'm not one to side with large multinational corporations, particularly Uber, who does not own any of the cars nor employ any of the drivers. These drivers and Uber operators essentially pay a tax to Uber to get to join in its "ride-sharing" gimmick which really is a paid taxi service.

The root cause is the lack of viable alternatives and a reliable/dependable taxi service for the common tao.

(A case study here is Tokyo. The government took a sane approach at regulations for app-based transportation. And curiously, Uber hasn't taken off there as well as in Manila.)

Had the LTRFB properly implemented rules and regulations on taxis and had erring drivers banned, pinoys wouldn't be clamoring for the likes of foreign-owned billion-dollar companies like Uber.

I mean pano nga kung nagka-akisidente. cases are settled in court. how can a rider be represented kung ang kalaban nya eh UBer/Grab + Operator coz of neglect. eh hindi ka tutulungan ng gobyerno nyan, coz colorum yan eh.

Eh malakas ulan kaya dyahe maglakad. Nag-taxi kami nung guide ko. Hindi pinabayaran nung matandang taxi driver. Saan ka pa?

Japanese taxi drivers are freaking fantastic. Sobrang bait. Sobrang polite. Sobrang linis. Tapos super-smooth pa mag-drive.

Kung ganyan lang lahat ng PUV drivers sa Pinas, (we have some good eggs, but too many bad ones), no more need for Uber, Grab or Premium Taxi.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

kung papanoorin nyo yun Silence ni Andrew Garfield saka si Taken Neeson, dun makikita talaga na ang Japan ang sobrang quality and sacrifice. no di na kelangan pa ng Catholic faith to conquer them coz they know and understand the true meaning of sacrifice and quality. kaya ni-Loreno Ruiz nila lahat ng mga nag-attempt eh convert sila kahit mga pari pa ng Vatican

Japan beleive in N.V.W.S - no victory without sacrifice. kaya ako sobrang saludo ako sa Japan. if you ask me, kaya siguro ginyera ng Japan saka Germany ang mundo kasi lahat tayo tamad at pretensious na malakas ang vanity pero deep inside we are not great as we say we are
