    Tara na = Let's go

There's already a "Let's Go Grenada" tourism slogan.

Why is it that the tourism campaign logos of the other Asian countries evoke cultural imagery, look vibrant, and offer something (incredible, amazing, beautiful, different, charming)... while ours is a call to do something nebulous (Tara Na == Let's Go. Let's Go what? Leave? Away? Hide?)

Also, notice the typography... the others have artistic and elegant lines; it's obvious these where designed in a deliberate manner. Ours is gaudy and amateurish, looking like something auto-generated in PowerPoint.

Thumbs down on using the kiddie cartoon characters. It doesn't make me want to go around the country because it says "pambata" and nothing seriously cool to look at.

The colors too... those from the other countries' logos really look colorful and vibrant; ours has a very bland scheme. So gaudy fonts+bland colors really equals disaster.

And what's up with the DOT logo incorporated in the campaign logo? It's so kitschy. It's an eyesore. It's government propaganda.

Who the heck designed this? We have a lot of artistically gifted companies in the Philippines, a lot of them award winning. I've seen a couple of books about our local graphic designers and those were really amazing. And we still end up with this crap?!

ganito din take ko. hindi catchy at parang bitin. parang nangtetempt na dagdagan yung sentence. e ang galing pa naman natin sa ganyan hehe

sana mas proper na lang na 'Tara na sa Pilipinas' or something.
